Their duties are diverse and critical, ranging from conducting controlled burns to maintain ecosystem health, performing trail maintenance, spotting fires from strategic observation points, conducting search and rescue operations in wilderness areas, responding to wildfires, providing wilderness emergency medical services (EMS), and conducting helicopter operations. With multiple dedicated posts and stations strategically located throughout San Andreas, the Forestry Service ensures rapid and effective response to incidents across the state's vast and varied landscapes.

American Medical Response (AMR): American Medical Response is a for-profit private ambulance service that provides both emergency and non-emergency transport services throughout San Andreas.
